The government has issued a sixty day extension for complaince with the ADA regulations.
New deadline is May 12, 2012

There is a law they are trying to get passed that would make it better/ easier/ simpler for certain pools
to NOT have to comply with the regualtions- making complaince optional instead of required.
S. 2186, A bill to amend the Americans with
Disabilities Act of 1990 to prohibit the Attorney General from
administering or enforcing certain accessibility regulations relating to
pools at public accommodations or provided by public entities
